Since January 4th, 1998 the non commercial and sponsorfree radiostation "Hamburger Lokalradio" is on the air. We are transmitting on 96 fm over antenna and many cable-channels in and around Hamburg in the north of Germany.
A special program ist transmitted worldwide on World Radio Network.

Our program starts on sunday at 6 AM and runs till monday morning 6 AM. Also we broacast on tuesday from midnight till 6 AM.
Earlyer we had time from sunday at midnight till sunday 6 AM. That time was taken away from the Hamburg Media School and we got the time on tuesday night instead. We are broadcasting for the whole city of Hamburg live from the "Lola" that is a center of cuture in the south-east of Hamburg in Bergedorf.

We don't bring you charts and the top 40 format. On the airwaves of the "Hamburger Lokalradio" you will find culture and we have music like urban jazz and international music from the whole world.

More than 30 operators collect and produce the program.
